東京ホテル会、2024年12月のまとめができましたので発表いたします。

ありがたいことに、今月も大変好調に推移しております。
12月は稼働率87.8%、平均単価 19,028円、RevPAR 16,682円と大変良い数字となっております。
今月もADR(単価)平均値は過去7年間の中で最高で、25ヶ月連続して最高値をマークしております。
RevPARも22ヶ月連続で最高値をマークしております。
実は今、各地のホテル会を騒がせている問題があります。
当会にも影響があり退会のホテル様が増えました。
東京ホテル会では現在はその事柄についての確認中です。
この退会が出ても、7月に私がRevPARを予想した数値の、8月9月10月の予想RevPARは8月9月は14,500円前後、10月からは上昇して15,500円から16,000円を予想しておりましたが今月(12月)も予想値を超えております。
毎回良すぎて書くことが同じとなってしまい、すみません。
しかし、日本の景気は一向に上がらない給料、物価高、また都内ビルのテナント情報を見ますと汐留や新しく出来た麻布台ヒルズ等は空室が多くある状態で決して良いとは言えない状況です。
都内の宿泊業はインバウンドのお客様のお蔭で活況を呈しておりますが、いつ景気動向が変わるかもしれません。
本当にインバウンド様々です。ありがたや。
すみません。ここから先は毎月ほぼ同じですが、重要と思っており、そのまま掲載をいたします。
一日も早く戦争が終結して平和な世界が来て、世界中の皆様に安心・安全な東京へ観光に来ていただきたいです。
コロナ禍は100年に一度の大厄災でした。
コロナ禍による暗黒の3年間により宿泊産業は体力を削ぎ取られてしまいました。
暗黒の3年間は本当に厳しい運営を強いられていた都心の宿泊業界です。
経済を回す起爆剤としてGo Toトラベルや地域での振興政策によるレジャー客の積極的な誘致施策やインバウンド誘致は必須だと感じております。
観光国家、日本にする為には更なる努力が必要と感じております。
経済産業省の3割出社、7割ワーケーションの通達が取消となることを願っております。
労働者に対しての労働分配率の低い企業に重税を課す事で、所得の中間層の皆様を豊かにする方針を進めて欲しいです。
皆様はどうお考えでしょうか。
Thankfully, business is going very well this month too.
In December 2024, the occupancy rate was 87.8%, ADR was 19,028 yen, and RevPAR was 16,682 yen, which are very good figures.
This month, ADR (unit price) average was the highest in the last seven years, and it has marked the highest figure for 25 consecutive months.
RevPAR has also marked the highest figure for 22 consecutive months.
There is a problem that is causing a stir in hotel associations around the country, and it is having an impact on our association too, with an increasing number of hotels cancelling their membership.
The Tokyo Hotel Association is currently investigating the matter.
Even with these hotel withdrawals, the RevPAR figures I predicted in July for August, September and October, which were around 14,500 yen for August and September, and from October between 15,500 yen and 16,000 yen, were overachieved in this month (December) and it is exceeding my predictions.
Sorry that I always end up writing the same thing because it's too good every time.
However, Japanese economy is not improving, with wages remaining stagnant and product prices rising. Looking at the information on tenants in buildings in Tokyo, there are many vacancies in places like Shiodome and the newly-built Azabudai Hills, so the situation does not look good.
The hospitality industry in Tokyo is booming thanks to inbound customers, but the economic situation could change at any time.
Inbound market is truly admirable. Thank goodness.
The rest of this article is almost the same every month, however, we think it is important and make the comment as it is.
We wish that war will end as soon as possible, and a peaceful world will come, and that people from all over the world will come to Tokyo for sightseeing in a safe and secure environment.
The Covid pandemic was a once-in-a-century great disaster.
The three years of darkness caused by the pandemic has sapped the strength of the hospitality industry.
During the three years of darkness, the hospitality industry in central Tokyo was forced to operate in a truly difficult business environment.
We feel that Go To Travel, regional promotion policies to attract leisure travelers, and aggressive inbound tourism are essential as a catalyst to turn the economy around.
We feel that further efforts are necessary to make Japan a “tourism nation”.
We also hope that the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry will rescind the 30% attendance and 70% work vacation policy.
Furthermore, we hope political measures to be implemented to enrich middle-income labors by imposing heavier taxes on corporates with lower labor's share of their profits.

東京のビジネスホテルに約40年間勤め、勤続中より、東京ホテル会を立ち上げる。
ホテル支配人として、東京ホテル会会長として、バブル崩壊、リーマンショック、3.11東日本大震災、そして今回のコロナショックと東京の宿泊特化型ホテルの変遷と進化を見続けてきた。
『これからの人を育てる』を信条に、品川区及び江東区の旅館組合長他、環境衛生協会、食品衛生協会等々、各種団体の重役として活動する傍ら、業界紙への寄稿も行う。
最近のデータ分析は稼働率やADRよりも『RevPAR中心主義』を掲げている。
Hikoji Takabe
Worked for a business hotel in Tokyo for about 40 years and during his service, founded the Tokyo Hotel Kai. (Kai means an association in Japanese.)
As a hotel manager and chairman of the Tokyo Hotel Kai, he has witnessed the transition and evolution of accommodation-only hotels in Tokyo, including the bursting of the bubble economy, the Lehman Crisis, the 3.11 Great East Japan Earthquake and the current Covid Pandemic.
With the credo of 'nurturing the people of the future', he is the head of the Shinagawa and Koto Ward Ryokan Association and an executive member of various other organisations, including the Environmental Health Association and the Food Hygiene Association, while also contributing articles to industry newspapers.
He is upholding the theme for data analysis, more 'RevPAR-centric' than occupancy rates and ADR.
昭和60年、品川区・港区で営業中のホテルを中心に「情報交換と協力親和により共存共栄とホテル業界の向上発展に寄与する」事を目的として『東京城南ホテル会』として発足した。
その後、業界を様々に襲う危機の中、「各ホテルが生き残る為に必要な情報を得ることができる会」へと実践的な変貌を遂げ、平成10年『東京ホテル会』として都内全般のホテルが参加する会に発展した。
『競い合うことでしか生き延びる道は無し』をスローガンとして、毎月の稼働情報交換、他ホテル見学会、活動やセミナー・勉強会の開催等の活動を行っている。現在参加223ホテル、総部屋数43,429室。
The Tokyo Hotel Kai was founded in 1985 as the Tokyo Jonan Hotel Kai with the aim of "contributing to co-existence and co-prosperity and the improvement and development of the hotel industry through the exchange of information and cooperation and friendship", mainly among hotels operating in Shinagawa and Minato wards.
In the midst of the various crises that have hit the industry since then, it has undergone a practical transformation into "an association where each hotel can obtain the information it needs to survive", and in 1998 developed into "Tokyo Hotel Kai" with the participation of hotels in Tokyo.
Under the slogan 'The only way to survive is to compete with each other', the association is engaged in activities such as monthly exchange of hotel operational information, visits to other hotels, seminars, study sessions, and other activities. There are currently 223 participating hotels with a total of 43,429 rooms.
