東京ホテル会、2023年3月のまとめができましたので発表いたします。

Here is a summary for Mar 2023.
今回のグラフですが1月から12月までの1年のグラフと前年4月から本年3月までの年度のグラフの2つのグラフを掲載いたします。

2023年3月は全国旅行支援等の各種支援策やインバウンドの復活により、ADR(単価)は過去7年で4ヶ月連続歴代最高値をマークし、RevPARも1万円の大台を超えました。
3月の平均稼働率は89.1%となっており、コロナ禍前の2016年度から2019年度の稼働率にわずかに及びませんでした。
例年、都内の3月は花見のシーズンと卒業旅行、新入社員の企業研修宿泊、インバウンドと忙しい月となっております。
ADR(単価)につきましては13,776円で、4ヶ月連続で過去7年間で一番良い数字となっております。
RevPARに付きましては12,270円と大台の1万円を大きく上回り、恐るべき金額となっており、コロナ前の数値と比較しても大幅に上回っております。
やっと春が巡ってまいりました。
先月とほぼ同じコメントとなってしまいますが全国旅行支援等とインバウンド解禁等により、いままで押さえられていた潜在的マグマが爆発したと考えております。
後は企業様の3割出社、7割ワーケーションがゆるくなり勤務出社日数が増え、出張も増加すればさらに安定すると思います。
現場は人が少なく、また全国旅行支援等の事務処理等の負荷で阿鼻叫喚のホテル様も多くございます。
ここから先は毎月同じですが、重要と思っており、そのまま掲載をいたします。
コロナ禍による暗黒の3年間により宿泊産業は体力を削ぎ取られてしまいました。
暗黒の3年間は本当に厳しい運営を強いられていた都心の宿泊業界です。
12月1月2月3月を鑑みますと経済を回す起爆剤としてGo Toトラベルや地域での振興政策や積極的なインバウンド誘致は必須だと感じております。
あと、経済産業省の3割出社、7割ワーケーションの通達が取消となることを願っております。

In Mar2023, thanks to the national travel assistance program and various supports to the industry and also having inbound guests come back, ADR recorded the highest in history for 4 consecutive months over the recent 7 years and RevPAR crossed 10,000yen mark.
Average OCC in March was 89.1%, which is slightly below the figure before Covid from 2016 to 2019.
It is a busy season in March in Tokyo with graduation trips, new recruit corporate training, and inbound guests.
ADR was 13,776yen, which is the best record over the recent 7 years.
RevPAR was 12,270yen, which is far greater than that of before Covid. Finally.
Triggered by the national travel assistance program and opening the boader for inbound guests, travel demands accumulated during the pandemic have exploded.
It will be stabilized more with business usages after more workers coming back to the office, easing "30%office, 70%workation" trend among corporates.
Due to a shortage of staffs and administrative burdens of such as the national travel assistance program, hotel staffs on site have the toughest job.
Hotel industry has been losing power during the long-lasting pandemic.
The darkest 3 years forced the industry to have very tough business operation.
Having the records from Dec2022 through Mar2023, it seems that the industry still need political supports such as Go To Travel, special aid at local level and some proactive business promotion to attract inbound guests.
Also, wishing the "30%office, 70%workation" guidance notice by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry will be cancelled soon.

東京のビジネスホテルに約40年間勤め、勤続中より、東京ホテル会を立ち上げる。
ホテル支配人として、東京ホテル会会長として、バブル崩壊、リーマンショック、3.11東日本大震災、そして今回のコロナショックと東京の宿泊特化型ホテルの変遷と進化を見続けてきた。
『これからの人を育てる』を信条に、品川区及び江東区の旅館組合長他、環境衛生協会、食品衛生協会等々、各種団体の重役として活動する傍ら、業界紙への寄稿も行う。
最近のデータ分析は稼働率やADRよりも『RevPAR中心主義』を掲げている。
Hikoji Takabe
Worked for a business hotel in Tokyo for about 40 years and during his service, founded the Tokyo Hotel Kai. (Kai means an association in Japanese.)
As a hotel manager and chairman of the Tokyo Hotel Kai, he has witnessed the transition and evolution of accommodation-only hotels in Tokyo, including the bursting of the bubble economy, the Lehman Crisis, the 3.11 Great East Japan Earthquake and the current Covid Pandemic.
With the credo of 'nurturing the people of the future', he is the head of the Shinagawa and Koto Ward Ryokan Association and an executive member of various other organisations, including the Environmental Health Association and the Food Hygiene Association, while also contributing articles to industry newspapers.
He is upholding the theme for data analysis, more 'RevPAR-centric' than occupancy rates and ADR.
昭和60年、品川区・港区で営業中のホテルを中心に「情報交換と協力親和により共存共栄とホテル業界の向上発展に寄与する」事を目的として『東京城南ホテル会』として発足した。
その後、業界を様々に襲う危機の中、「各ホテルが生き残る為に必要な情報を得ることができる会」へと実践的な変貌を遂げ、平成10年『東京ホテル会』として都内全般のホテルが参加する会に発展した。
『競い合うことでしか生き延びる道は無し』をスローガンとして、毎月の稼働情報交換、他ホテル見学会、活動やセミナー・勉強会の開催等の活動を行っている。現在参加223ホテル、総部屋数43,429室。
The Tokyo Hotel Kai was founded in 1985 as the Tokyo Jonan Hotel Kai with the aim of "contributing to co-existence and co-prosperity and the improvement and development of the hotel industry through the exchange of information and cooperation and friendship", mainly among hotels operating in Shinagawa and Minato wards.
In the midst of the various crises that have hit the industry since then, it has undergone a practical transformation into "an association where each hotel can obtain the information it needs to survive", and in 1998 developed into "Tokyo Hotel Kai" with the participation of hotels in Tokyo.
Under the slogan 'The only way to survive is to compete with each other', the association is engaged in activities such as monthly exchange of hotel operational information, visits to other hotels, seminars, study sessions, and other activities. There are currently 223 participating hotels with a total of 43,429 rooms.
